Brothers, cousins and best friends were among the 1,177 sailors and Marines killed 76 years ago when the U.S.S. Arizona exploded and sank in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Bobbie Jo Buel describes her quest to profile each man who did not survive that perilous day. Their personal stories are a mirror of America in the Great Depression. Bobbie Jo Buel is a retired editor of the Arizona Daily Star. Her husband, David Carter, designed the U.S.S. Arizona memorial on the mall at the University of Arizona. Her research tactics, amazing discoveries, and the people she met along the way is a presentation you will not want to miss!
